Policy Initiative
CBCRP has allocated $150,000 annually to this initiative. These funds may be dedicated to one project or spread out over multiple projects, depending on the recommendations received and the potential benefit for the impact of the projects.
Using an open, competitive, peer-reviewed process, CBCRP has established a pool of pre-qualified policy research investigators/teams poised to quickly fill knowledge gaps to inform breast cancer relevant policy.
Research questions are selected based on the pressing breast cancer relevant issues in California. One or more of our pre-qualified policy investigators/teams will then generate answers and then effectively deliver those answers to policymakers.
