Newly Funded CBCRP Awards

The California Breast Cancer Research Program is proud to announce the funding of 48 research grants for a total of $11,458,884 dollars. These projects address different facets of the fight against breast cancer: from investigating what makes a normal breast cell become a cancer cell to determining how we can detect the change; from identifying elements that increase the risk of developing breast cancer to devising ways to eradicate the risk factors; from discovering new drugs using traditional or alternative medicine to finding ways to optimize the accessibility of breast cancer treatments that we already have.
