Overview of CBCRP.org
Our Web site helps fulfill part of our mission by communicating research findings; building collaborative and educational bridges between scientists, advocates, non-profits, the private sector, government and the public; and by getting individuals and groups in the private and public sectors involved in spreading the word about the CBCRP.
Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to protecting it and to making you aware of our online practices regarding the privacy of your information.

In so doing, you may be asked to provide personally identifiable information such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, fax number, credit card information, or information about your interests and activities.
How the Information is Used
We may use the information you give us to communicate with you through periodic messages regarding services, events, and other information and notices we believe you may find interesting or useful. We may use it for confirmation of donations, subscriptions, or other actions you take on our site, and for related customer service needs.

How to be Removed From our Email List
If you have simply entered your email address on our subscription form, and no longer wish to receive email from CBCRP, please notify us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org with "remove" in the subject header and we will remove your name from our email recipient list.
Security with Online Donations
CBCRP.org uses appropriate procedures to ensure the security of your personal information and to and protect it from unauthorized access. In particular, when we ask you to enter credit card information, we use the top industry standard security protection, including encryption, SSL transmission connection, and a secure server for information storage. Once your credit card has been processed, your credit card information is not stored on our servers. CBCRP uses a credit card processing company to process your donation. This company does not share or use identifiable information for any secondary purposes, and all numbers are deleted after the standard sixty-day, customer service period has elapsed.
