SRI Call for Applications

Application Process

There will be two types of applications depending on the initiative:

  • Request for Proposals (RFPs) are similar to CBCRP’s core, investigator-initiated program applications, responding to the particular initiative topic;
  • Request for Qualifications (RFQs) include specific research questions and plan, requesting the qualifications of applicants to conduct the study.

Most application instructions and materials will be available exclusively through the proposalCentral website, https://proposalcentral.altum.com (and filter for “California Breast Cancer Research Program”). Applications for those initiatives must be submitted through proposalCentral, and prospective PIs as well as institution officials (i.e., signing officials and fiscal contacts) must be registered in that system.

Selected grants will be available here, with the application instructions and materials posted online.
